Top Movies of All Time

Who wouldn't enjoy an afternoon with friends sitting on a huge couch and watching a famous movie? Surely everybody would try it at least once. And if it will be one that you'll like, you will enjoy watching it again and again.

There are a few movies that must be seen, must be heard and must be owned.

May I start my list with the legendary Titanic with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Jack and Rose find one another on the "unsinkable" Titanic, which fortuitously collides with an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Their forbidden passionate love affair becomes this way a thrilling race for survival.

If you would rather watch a historical epic than a romance, the Gladiator should be the first one to cross your mind. Russell Crowe portrays the General Maximus Decmus Miridius who is betrayed when the Emperor's ambitious son, Commodus, murders his father and seizes the throne. Reduced to slavery, Maximus rises through the ranks of the gladiatorial arena to avenge the murder of his family and his Emperor.

The revolutionary Matrix became the highest rated science fiction. The film depicts a simulated reality in which the human body's heat and electrical activity is used as an energy source. Keanu Reeves playing the computer programmer, Neo, is represented as a rebellion who is acting against this machined system.

In the last 10 years these movies became an ideal for the film producers. A greater number of movies have been released, this way more of them could win different awards. Shrek, Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Pirates of Caribbean are only a few of the world's most famous movies. If you are interested in top 100 or even 500, search the DVD search engine.
